Nola Pearce, the Managing Director of TraumaSim Group, is passionate about realism in training and her goal is to eliminate preventable fatalities from trauma related injuries via the use of simulation in education, first aid, tactical combat care and emergency response training.

Nola has 16 years nursing experience, is acknowledged as an Advanced First Aid training subject matter expert specializing in curriculum development and is experienced in tailoring such services across a plethora of organizational requirements and environments. It is via this experience that Nola became concerned that lives are put at risk due to PowerPoint tick & flick style training delivery which is not preparing students or practitioners to effectively and confidently provide lifesaving care in the high pressure, high consequence environment of a real emergency.

Consequently, Nola embarked on a mission to design and manufacture realistic training aids to support the delivery of enhanced simulated training that would better prepare Medical Teams and Emergency Response personnel for the application of their skills in high-pressure environments. This was further supported by undertaking studies and training in Moulage and Disaster Exercise Design training in the U.S where Nola could draw on her medical background to bring realism to the art of casualty simulation and has successfully delivered over 20,000 casualty simulations for training scenarios around the world.

Formerly he served as Director of the Nevada System of Higher Education’s Clinical Simulation Center of Las Vegas, Simulation Technician for the LA Community College District, and volunteer Fire-Fighter, after receiving his BA in Film and Digital Media Production and working on Hollywood production sets. He currently lives with his wife in Las Vegas with their two young daughters and two crazy dachshunds.
