As if staffing wasn’t already difficult, COVID-19 has made training, certifying and hiring qualified providers an even greater challenge. Christina Keatley, MHS, NRP

Christina Keatley is a nationally registered paramedic and certified provider in North Carolina. She has practiced paramedicine at Person County Emergency Medical Services (PCEMS) of Roxboro, NC since 2010. As a member of the department, Christina has assumed leadership roles and most recently held the Compliance Officer position. Christina is the owner and co-founder of MedUltra Learning, LLC. in Durham, NC, an American Heart Association Training Site and team of content developers in prehospital education. She holds a NC Level II Paramedic Instructor certification and has instructed a variety of courses at Durham Technical Community College since 2011. Christina graduated from Western Carolina University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science concentrating in Emergency Medical Care. She completed her Master of Health Science from Western Carolina University in 2017. She enjoys working on the ambulance and giving back to the community. In her free time, she enjoys going to the beach, camping, fishing, and spending time with her husband and son.
